Midland Forex Bureau Ltd., was started in the year 1998 and now has become Uganda's top most foreign exchange house.
It recorded a turnover of above 55 million US Dollars for the year 2002.

OPAL Industries Ltd., with a view to produce an FMCG product in Uganda OPAL Industries Ltd., was started and was involved in bottling of mineral water. With a view to providing employment to the upcountry labor, the factory was established in Mbale, Uganda. The capacity of the plant is to bottle 2,000 half ltr. Bottles and 1,000 one ltr. Bottles per hour.
